PowerPoint Users Have Hope

Juice Analytics has released Chart Chooser, a site that allows you to download attractive charts (that strive to be Tufte-compliant) for Excel and Powerpoint. I tested on a Mac, and these don’t always work so well in Keynote and Numbers. Of course, I’ve found the builtin charts in those applications look much better anyway (though there are fewer chart types– no Bubble Chart, Apple?)

I’m curious why this site needed to be done in Flash/Flex though. Perhaps there’s some interactive component coming soon.

Their post on the site is here.
