What? Why yes, I am reading Four Fish right now, how did you know? Heh, I guess it is “2010’s Omnivore’s Dilemma”and I do “just sort of look like that kind of dope”. Guilty as charged!
That’s actually not totally true. The entire “Salmon” chapter, approximately 25% of the book, passes with no mention of the taste of farmed salmon. In fact, there is no wild vs. farm taste comparison till over halfway through the book, when they are discussing cod! Its really more a book about fishing than eating.

I was wondering if he was a brown alum because he says something about driving past the lights of his former college town, Providence, RI. nice. Speaking of Brown, there’s a part about Shira’s dad’s magic salmon company.
