Had to upload this for Jeb. This is from Itäväylä’s first LP, released several years back. Featuring the guitarist from Circle, they traffic in some kind of 80’s electro boogie rock. Accelerator-plus era ZZ Top stripped down and looped, conjuring a robotik bar band with an unhealthy Can/kraut obsession.

Best show I’ve seen this year. Finally got a chance to see them live after 6 years and it was totally worth it. Might try and head to NYC tonight to see them at the Knitting Factory. Jeb you have to go. They don’t come over to the US too often. Played newer stuff (Sunrise, Tulikoira) going from the winding groove of kraut rock to the over the top NWOFHM sounds from the most recent albums and makig it all flow. They could have played for another hour and the crowd would have been psyched.
