Before they sold remote controlled helicopter massage chairs, America’s favorite mall store, Brookstone, sold precision tools. This ad is from The Whole Earth Catalog. Perhaps we’ll be seeing a Brookstone Heritage collection with USA made hacksaws and pipe wrenches with painted handles.
There’s a certain symmetry to the fact that distant ‘Whole Earth Catalog’ descendent ‘Cool Tools’ is basically the Skymall catalog.
