Been listening to this LP this evening while cleaning. This song (along with a couple others on the flip side) gets stuck in my head once every couple a months- definitely an odd LP. Downer avant country rock?

I’m into it. It just got cool here and I’ve cleaning to do. Ysi?

too bad the actual interview isn’t online.

True. I do like the idea of one in depth interview per issue though.

I could have sworn I posted this a year or two ago, but it can always be revisited– a live Captain Beyond performance from 1972. Part 2 is here.

a whole guy just for cowbell? This is like Connected Ventures’ house band.

oh man that dude is singing now. he’s a lead vocs/percussion stand guy, nevermind.

Things I Saw in Sixty Seconds on Seventh Avenue

• A man, huffing a fist-swinging pace up the sidewalk, losing his grip on his iPhone. It spun in the air in front of him, and seemed frozen, like in an action movie. Finally, one of its jewel-like facets struck the sidewalk, exploding bits glue and plastic under everyone’s feet. Three full-grown men gasped, hands over their mouths.

• Marilyn Manson.

what a world.

Jeb’s Big Adventure.

@ Monocle:

Old school Portuguese milk brand, Vigor, makes us wish we were still at school. Instead of milk, people ask for Vigor in cafés and the quart-measure bottles come with different coloured tops depending on variety.

I want to have a jpgblog of just milk bottle photographs.

Maybe these guys will fund me.
